Congratulations to BPhO students success at The International Physics Olympiad, Indonesia
A rigorous selection programme saw team members Callum Brennan-Rich (The Liverpool Bluecoat School), Robbie King (King’s College School Wimbledon), Weida Liao (Churston Ferrers Grammar School), Euan Tebbutt (Twycross House School), Robert Waddy (Devonport High School for Boys) and reserve James Bayliss (Sutton Grammar School) come together to form the British Physics Olympiad team, travelling to the International Physics Olympiad in Indonesia.
UK team wins two silver medals at first participation in International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics
The Olympiad is an annual international competition for secondary school pupils from around the world, in the fields of Astronomy and Astrophysics. This year was the 9th edition and it was organised in Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia between 26 July and 4 August, with 210 students competing from 41 countries.

IPhO 2011: Harmony in Physics
It was a very successful year for the British team at the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO). This year the competition took place in Bangkok, Thailand, with 85 countries from across the world participating.
